Transylvanian born American sculptor Cristian Ianculescu has a new solo exhibit at Waverly Street Gallery in Bethesda, MD. The premier takes place on May 10, 2019 between 6 and 9 pm. The exhibit runs until June 8.
Ianculescu will exhibit his latest sculptures in alabaster. He was introduced to drawing at an early age by his maternal grandfather, an accomplished photographer and painter. He studied painting in Romania with celebrated artist Richard Mantu, and in the U.S. with Natasha Mokina and Leslie Exton, and sculpture with Charles Flickinger at the Corcoran College of Art and Design.
