My name is Daniela Kammrath, I am Romanian-American and I live in Washington, DC. I meet almost every day people that tell me about their experience of Romania: their longing for a place that has stayed in their heart, the kids they adopted, the trips of memorable wonderings, the 'Buna ziua!" and "Saru' mana!" greeting from friendly people they've met. They talk about Romania with pride, they want to keep connected to it. It is impressive and humbling.
